An Indian-American computer scientist, Anshumali Shrivastava has won National Science Foundation (NSF)’s prestigious CAREER award for his research on redesigning current machine-learning processes. He is an Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science at William Marsh Rice University, commonly referred to as Rice University or Rice which is a private research university located in Houston, Texas.

The list topped by Leslie Moonves, CEO of CBS. Moonves earned compensation worth USD 56.7 million in 2016.
